Lovin' some counterfeiting in February!

It is a love fest here on Counterfeit Kit Challenge this month!  Welcome to February with a great new kit, new Guest Designer and a month FULL of inspiration!

Let's get you started with a fabulous kit from Scrapbook.com called Across the Miles

It is full of traveling possibilities.  Do you spy the gold map paper?  I am totally smitten with the wood veneer sequins, too.  Those are something I would LOVE to add to my stash!

We have a lovely Guest Designer this month!  Please show some love to Doris!

Doris grew up just six miles from the ocean on the gulf coast of sunny Florida. After college her dormant gypsy blood surfaced and she began her wanderings; she has lived in Guatemala, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Honduras. Her vagabond ways were tempered when the little guy came along. Gabriel is her world and life is wonderful with him in it. They currently call Tennessee home where she stays quite busy keeping up with Gabriel’s social life, teaching English as a Second Language, and scrapping, of course.

Doris has always enjoyed photos and the stories they tell. As a child one of her favorite pastimes was digging through her mother’s collection of old photographs and wondering what the people in them would tell her if they could speak. She loves that scrapbooking allows her to share her stories and thoughts with her son, family, friends, and future generations. Doris would describe her work as structured freestyle, a hodgepodge of fun with a solid foundation.

You can see more of Doris’s work and stories on her blog, Meanderings.  She can also be found on Facebook and Instagram as herself, Doris Sander.

We have a great hop set up for you this month!  You are going to LOVE it!

  2. Doris Sanders is a fabulously creative and inspiring scrapbooker. Excited to see what she and rest of the design team have in store for us this month! That's a terrific kit! Unlike anything that I have in my stash so it will be interesting for me to see where I go with this but I'm thinking a travel themed kit with some blues. But, maybe the hop will help give me more ideas. Today is an extremely busy day away from the house for several activities. But, I'll get through the whole hop by tomorrow, for sure! Thanks for inspiration!
